Although we have extensive measures in operation to minimise the risks of Covid-19 to our guests and our staff, with the current travel restrictions we have no option but to keep Belvedere closed until 26th April.
Belvedere is appropriately named, enjoying a picture postcard view across Brodick Bay towards Goat Fell, the tallest mountain on the Isle of Arran.
Guests describe their experience of staying in our front roooms as ’like waking up in a post card’.
2020 saw Belvedere celebrating 100 years of welcoming visitors, for it was built as a “letting house” way back in 1920, and has been accommodating guests ever since, from all over the world.
Since opening, we estimate that 100,000 people have stayed at Belvedere!

Our custom-built self-catering property
Belvedere was built in 1920 by a retiring sea captain, who brought back South American mahogany as ship’s ballast, from which the doors and skirtings are made.
Visitors have been coming to Belvedere ever since, some returning over many years.
It is important that you understand the difference between a hotel and a guest house. A hotel may employ additional staff to provide concierge and valet services. A guest house does not. Here, you are staying in someone’s home, as their guest. We ask you to respect this distinction.
