Minimising Risks
To minimise the risks of Covid-19 to you and our staff when you visit Belvedere, we have put in place temporary procedures. It is essential that everyone adheres to these. Either you or we could become infected at any time, yet not realise it.

Your bedding includes additional protective layers and is washed at higher temperatures. Curtains and soft furnishings are steam-cleaned between each guests. All surfaces are sterilised.
If you have any concerns, do please let us know, when we will do all we can to keep you safe to enjoy your stay with us. Thank you for your cooperation.
Belvedere was built in 1920 by a retiring sea captain, who brought back South American mahogany as ship’s ballast, from which the doors and skirtings are made.
Visitors have been coming to Belvedere ever since, some returning over many years.
It is important that you understand the difference between a hotel and a guest house. A hotel may employ additional staff to provide concierge and valet services. A guest house does not. Here, you are staying in someone’s home, as their guest. We ask you to respect this distinction.
